Job Purpose
To develop sales of Kachan’s research and other sponsorship products to prospects and maintain existing clients.
Kachan & Co. is a respected clean technology research and advisory firm with offices in Vancouver, San Francisco and Toronto.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Closing sales
- Pipeline development
- Logging all interaction with prospects and clients
- Facilitating of partners’ internal business cases as required
- Business letters, quotations and proposals
- Account maintenance
- Written, telephone and face to face interactions with prospects and clients
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technology and information industry experience, adept at selling & advocating information products
- Enthusiasm for the environment and understanding of cleantech basics
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Personable, good ability to build rapport with clients
- Sales tool savvy (CRM, Skype, Outlook, videoconferencing, Internet presentations)
- Interest and capability to generate supporting sales materials as needed
- Willingness to invest energy and time in building pipeline
- Spoken and written Mandarin a plus
Compensation
Compensation will be on commission, the rate of which rises upon exceeding monthly sales target. Advances against commissions possible for first three months. Specifics reviewed with qualified candidates.
